SOLD to Sandy in Kansas City!! Ultimate
This has been my keeper from the day she was born. I guess I just never thought that I’d get this old. She’s of that magic cross - Peptoboonsmal and Shining Spark. Her dam is by Self Shine, who from a limited number of offspring, sired a high percentage of futurity cowhorses. Her sire is by a NCHA money earning son of Peptoboonsmal. Siring a full brother to Naughty MIata, NCHA earner who was gelded while showing.
Ultimate was wonderful tostart and break (by Caitlyn Eickelberry) and has been there to do whatever wanted since. I’m not going to be able to do her justice. (age & physical condition). She’s been on the sled lately (mostly on heeler) but would make a cowhorse or just about anything you point her at. She recently started perfectly on heading as well. Video on that coming soon.
100% healthy, sound, easy to deal with. 14.2 7 yr old
I’ll put up more video soon.
$12,500
Notch -A 5 yr old gelding. 9 months of training on the heading side. A natural. He has amazed us at every step. Been on cattle, just not yet this spring due to weather. I think Lorelei roped the first 10 in a row on him. Been out of the box a lot, but not behind a barrier. 100% sound, healthy. 15.1
I bred a mare by Nu Chex to Cash, but before the paperwork was completed, the owner of the mare passed away and was also suspended by AQHA. Even though all DNA was completed never could get the family to help complete the paperwork so he is not registered.
He is a nice mover, stays totally focused and sane. He’ll go to work this season.
15K.
SOLD To Kaitlyn in KC -Herm
Got caught with too many horses in the barn. This one doesn’t fit our plan and we have no one to ride this kind of horse. Your gain! 6 year old TB that has been off the track 2 years. Does a lot of things that look and feel western, but he’s not. (Backs nice, rolls over his hocks, etc). This horse is a jumper. Knees go up and even and he is very cadenced. He is sound (had been pinfired), sane and balanced. He is 16.2 no blemishes, generally looks very dark brown or near black but in the photos this morning with the early sun he looks more bay.
Will take 5K for him.
March 2025
Sold to Jennifer in South Dakota
2008 Sorrel mare. Granddaughter of Peptoboonsmal out of a Docs Prescription bred mare. She has been a good broodmare for us. Nothing has been shown, but a consistent producer of nice foals, always selling well. She is open after having her 2024 foal lost at foaling. Dystocia, at Kansas State University Vet School with no known issues, but not bred back. Selling mare due to my age and health.. She’s in winter pasture shape, but healthy. Hide A Pepto is a NCHA earner and producer. Winter price of $1500. 14.3 to 15 hands.
